Rosen Media & Marketing, Canal TV 19, TV Net 19 and TV Net Mall are enterprises owned by Mel Rosen.  Mel was a Wall Street lawyer who went on to building and operating rental apartments, oil and gas exploration and development, motion picture and television production, operated retail stores and sold a variety of products on HSN- Home Shopping Network.  In 1986, Mel started the first national UHF TV channel in Costa Rica, as well as, the country's first wireless cable TV system. In 1987, Mel co-founded the first and largest multi-channel pay-per-view satellite company which grew to 850,000 subscribers and a market value of $1,000,000,000 based on an investment of $250,000,000 from Morgan Stanley.  In 1997, Mel took majority control of a NASDAQ-listed media company with a market value of $500,000.  Sixteen months later the company had a market valuation of more than $350,000.

The Internet is the future of product sales.  However, businesses still need a way to bring potential customers to their web home-shopping sites.  The business plan of Rosen Media & Marketing is to program Canal 19 as a high definition free-to-air home-shopping channel in the form of a virtual shopping mall which uses the latest technology to use the TV channel as a portal to the Internet where sales can be made instantly.
